Q: What opportunities are available with TC² and how often do they come up?
A: Opportunities with TC² include:
- professional development facilitation including face-to-face workshops and online sessions;
- project work including writing, editing, researching, graphic design, and translation; and
- administrative portfolios including professional learning, project design and management, marketing and publishing, information technology, human resources services, and finance.
Facilitation, project work, and administrative opportunities are posted based on the requirements of the organization.

When an opportunity is posted, we review all applications. Applicants who are selected for an interview will be contacted.
Q: Do you hire employees
A: The majority of our resources and services are developed and provided by independent consultants who work as contractors. When we post an opportunity, we will indicate if we are looking for an independent contractor or an employee.
Q: How many hours might I expect to work each week?
A: Hours of work vary, depending on the position and the needs of the particular project.
Many people who work with TC² maintain employment with another organization in addition to the work they do with us.
Q: Where is TC² located?
A: Though our office is located in Vancouver, BC, the work we do can happen anywhere in Canada or internationally. Our facilitators may provide face-to-face or online sessions, and our project workers provide their services from home offices, neighbourhood coffee shops, or even poolside in a warm climate! Meetings with TC² colleagues are held using Skype or Adobe Connect. Occasionally, meetings with funding partners require travel.
Q: What does it mean that TC² is a not-for-profit organization in the education sector?
A: As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on external sources for funding. Any revenue generated by TC² goes to furthering our mission of transforming education.
Q: If I become a facilitator with TC² will I be required to travel?
A: While every attempt is made to accommodate the wishes of facilitators with regard to travel, it is a priority for TC² to provide professional learning across Canada and internationally, so facilitators may be asked to travel from time to time. Facilitators collaborate with TC² professional learning consultants to establish their schedules.
Q: What experience and qualifications do facilitators require?
A: We are looking for educators with established classroom experience who have facilitated professional learning and possess an in-depth understanding of the TC² approach and model.

Q: Can I use my own materials to facilitate with TC²?
A: Facilitation experience is certainly a valuable asset that contributes to the success of professional learning sessions. TC² facilitators are required to use the critical thinking framework and the related resources and are encouraged to collaborate and share materials.
