Interpreting electronic messages

With this T4T tutorial, students uncover hidden or non-obvious meanings of electronic messages. They develop an understanding of the importance of recognizing and interpreting implicit or hidden messages in electronic text. This tutorial includes instructional suggestions for teachers (introducing the strategy, practicing the strategy, reinforcing the strategy, applying the strategy in everyday teaching, and assessing use of the strategy) and resources for students (briefing sheets, data charts, student guide, samples, and self-assessment rubric).
