INVESTIGATING IMAGES
Investigating images is a print and online resource published by TC² with the support of the Government of Canada through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

This resource showss how to use images in a deeper way. Our students learn in many different ways and these strategies help them to see through the images for deeper understanding.

Here’s my problem with the video – the sample image presents a stereotype of a cultural group. Am I the only one who sees this?

I agree with Angela. Muslims (not “Moslems” as misspelled in your exemplar) in bedsheets, smiling while holding guns. Real original. Are there no other images in the past fifty years that warrant examination?
That being said, I do appreciate the idea, and the resources. In the future, think about the images you want to project to your students…many of who may not appreciate this stereotype.
