The Critical Thinking Consortium is made up of an extensive group of partners from school districts, universities, independent schools, professional organizations and consortiums, government agencies, and commercial enterprises.

Terms of Partnership
In agreeing to join the Consortium, partners commit to the following principles:
- Common vision.
The Critical Thinking Consortium is a partnership of school districts, private institutions, universities, professional educators’ organizations, and
other invited organizations. The Consortium’s mission is to promote critical thinking through the four integrated functions of professional development, networking, publications and research. See Our Vision in the Partner Package for details. - Shared philosophy of professional development.
The underlying principle of the Consortium is that partners join in a common purpose for their mutual benefit and that the educational system benefits by having access to long-term, field-based professional development supported by exemplary learning and assessment resources as outlined in Professional learning initiatives
in our Partner Package. - Collaborative management.
The nature and direction of activities of the Consortium shall ultimately be determined by the Partners principally through an Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in June of each year. The Board of Directors, elected by the Partners, oversees the work of the Consortium between meetings of the full partnership. The Principles and Procedures adopted by the Partners determine the day-to-day operations. These Principles and Procedures shall be adopted or amended at the AGM. The TC² model of critical thinking is the shared framework for these efforts. Partners agree to make use of the TC² model of critical thinking and its related materials in accordance with the policies outlined in Use of TC² intellectual property in our Partner Package. The underlying policy objectives are to encourage broad dissemination of the model, assure the integrity of materials and services offered under the TC² name and provide a financial return where third parties
make use of the TC² model for commercial purposes. - Annual fees.
The Partnership fees are to offset the operating costs that go into the preparation of materials. Please refer to Partner structure and annual fee in our Partner Package for further details. - Minimum commitment.
Partners are encouraged to make a minimum two-year commitment to be involved in the Consortiu
