Looking Back on 2024: Thank You for an Amazing Year!

“This year, I was reminded in vivid colour of the warmth and care and compassion that are at the heart of our work in education and especially within our TC² family and community. So many times, I’ve heard people say: ‘You have to build relationships first before learning can happen.’ But I have always believed that trusting, reciprocal, and loving relationships are born out of the way we engage in the work together—the way we teach and lead and collaborate and learn together. And that truth has never been so clear to me as it was this year.

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone in the TC² community—our Partners, Members, and all those we’ve worked with this year—for your contributions to another impactful year.

Together, we accomplished so much. Here are just a few examples:

• Facilitated over 260 professional learning sessions, reaching thousands of educators, leaders, and learners across diverse educational settings.
• Welcomed 16 new Partners, including all 10 English school boards in Quebec
• Engaged with educators across Canada, the USA, South Korea, France, and at international events like the ICSEI conference in Dublin, Ireland.
• Sold 2,840 publications to educators around the world.
• Collaborated on impactful projects such as SEL and reconciliation resources with the Love of Reading Foundation, and strategic planning with school boards across Canada.
• Partnered on specialized projects with organizations such as the Matawa Education and Care Centre, ministries of education in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, the Holodomor Research and Education Consortium, and Paideia Education (France).
