Privacy Policy

TC² is committed to preserving the privacy of all visitors to our website. Please read the following privacy policy to understand how we use and safeguard the information that you provide to us. If you have any questions about our Privacy policy, please contact us.

What information do we collect?

When you visit our website you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis, and site use information collected on an aggregate basis as you browse our website.

If you purchase products or services from us or if you choose to access resources that have been purchased for you by your organization or school district, you may need to provide the following pieces of personal information:

  • Name
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • School and/or organization information

Personal communication

If you correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone.

Site use information

Similar to many other websites, we utilize web server logs to collect information about how our site is used. Information gathered our logs include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our site, and the sites visited just before and just after our site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.

How do we use the information that you provide?

Broadly speaking, we use personal information for the purposes of administering our activities, providing client service and informing you about our products and services. We do not provide any information to outside parties and we never sell or share our mailing list with any other individual or group.

To facilitate collaboration among our Partners, we do make basic contact information for our designated Partner representatives—the kind of information that is available publicly on school district websites—available to our Partners and to our staff.

How do we secure information transmissions?

When you send confidential, personal credit card information to us on our website, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our website.

Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information through an unsecured email.

How do we protect your information?

Information security

We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.

Evaluation of protection practices

Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information. Any changes to our privacy policy in the future will be posted to the website and, where appropriate, through e-mail notification.
